NLND Berlin (Neuland) is an impressive 150,000-square-meter former cigarette factory in Berlin-Neukölln that has been reinvented as a new flagship for deep tech innovations and future urban technologies. The campus brings together industry, small and medium-sized businesses, universities, and startups in a space that embodies community and technological progress. The highlights of the venue

• Building A2 – The Conference Center: With a total area of approximately 11,000 square meters, the halls in Building A2 form the new centerpiece for large-scale events on campus.
• Bay 7 (5,600 m²): This massive hall is designed for maximum impact and can accommodate up to 2,254 people in row seating or 1,360 guests for gala events. It features a permanently installed high-tech setup, including a gigantic 22 x 4.5 m LED wall, a PA system, and a flexible room partitioning system.
• Hall 5 (3,050 m²): A versatile space that can accommodate up to 1,372 people, ideal for exhibitions or medium-sized conferences.
• Showcase Stage (C1): This 775-square-meter auditorium features floor-to-ceiling windows that provide natural daylight and an integrated grandstand seating 200 people. A 4 x 6-meter LED wall is standard here.
• A9 Cinema: For exclusive screenings or presentations, this 140-square-meter cinema features state-of-the-art design, a 4.5 x 2.5-meter LED screen, and seating for up to 80 guests.

Campus Ecosystem & Infrastructure

NLND is more than just an event venue; it’s a vibrant ecosystem. Event organizers benefit from a curated community and a variety of additional spaces:

• Additional spaces: Work & Create: The campus features a Makers Lab, a prototyping hall, and a Startup Lab for production and innovation.
• Dining & Networking: The on-site cafeteria (525 m²) features natural daylight and direct access to a rooftop terrace with views across the entire campus. In addition, the Neucafé and various bar and restaurant areas provide the perfect setting for networking.
• Active Campus: The Urban Sports Parks (indoor and outdoor) are unique, offering casual breakout activities.
• Sustainability: There is a hydrogen and electric vehicle charging station on the premises.

Technical Details & Logistics

The venue is fully equipped to ensure everything runs smoothly:

• Electricity & Lighting: All main areas are equipped with high-voltage power outlets and professional ambient lighting (e.g., 72 AT10 lamps in Bay 7).
• Logistics: Building A2 features three loading docks for efficient loading and unloading, as well as freight elevators.
• Meeting Rooms: The conference rooms in Building M9 (totaling 140 m²) are fully equipped with projectors, microphones, and Wi-Fi and can accommodate up to 132 people.

NLND Berlin is strategically located in Neukölln and has excellent public transportation connections:

• By car: Just 2 minutes from the A100 highway (0.6 km).
• Public transportation: The S Köllnische Heide station is a 6-minute walk (1 km) away.
• Airport/Train Station: Guests can reach BER Airport and the main train station in about 20–30 minutes by car or train.
• Nearby hotels: The Estrel Berlin is located nearby (approx. 1 km).
